Dr. Scott Adams
Dr. Scott Adams has served in many capacities at Our Savior's Church. However, his primary passion and calling centers on teaching and equipping leaders/pastors to fulfill the Great Commission. Dr. Scott received his B.A. in Religious Studies from Regent University (Cum Laude), a Master's of Religion and a Master's of Divinity (Summa Cum Laude) from Liberty Theological Seminary, a Doctor of Ministry in Applied Theology (Cum Laude) from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a PhD in New Testament from Radboud University, the Netherlands. Dr. Scott is married to the love of his life, Kelly, and they have four children: Carsten, Hudson, Preslie, and Aniston.
Kelly Adams brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Our Savior’s College. She majored in Psychology at the University of Texas and has worked in numerous capacities within the church including finance, administration, special events, and women’s ministry. In addition to being the mother of 4 beautiful children, Kelly works alongside Dr. Scott to oversee the administration of the college, serves as a faculty instructor, and assists in developing women in their ministry calling.
Dr. Donald and Rhonda Thornton
Dr. Donald Thornton and his wife, Rhonda have a total of 34 years of experience in the education field. Dr. Donald obtained a master's degree and a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. In addition to teaching History and Social Studies, he has served as a curriculum coach and a project director of two “Teaching American History” grants. Dr Thornton currently teaches in the Master's Program in Educational Leadership at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Rhonda served as a teacher and home school instructor in the HIPPY preschool program for five years. She currently works with the GEAR UP program to provide college scholarships to underserved student populations.
